Bannerghatta National Park
In the novel Life of Pi, Yann Martel speculates that if the city of Tokyo was turned upside down, a host of wild animals, including tigers would fall out. Turn Bangalore upside down and you’ll find herds of elephants, mostly from Bannerghatta National Park.
At the edge of our expanding metropolis lies over 100 acres of national park, home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Open to the public, the Park also features a recently-inaugurated butterfly park.
